Tibetan Tranquility Meditation Class

A how-to, teaching on Tibetan meditation techniques; how to rest and stabilize the mind, necessary for insight meditation. This is a method for directly seeing the mind’s true nature. Buddha would often compare himself to a physician and the teachings to medicine.

DR. DAVID BOLE (LAMA LOSANG) is currently director of the Traditional Acupuncture Center, a holistic healthcare facility in Gainesville, FL, and the resident teaching Lama for the Gainesville Karma Thegsum Chöling, Tibetan Buddhist meditation center. He received a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Univ. of Florida and a Doctor
of Acupuncture from the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Oxford, England. He is a licensed Acupuncture Physician and teaches Asian medicine, meditation and Tai Chi Chuan. As a Westerner trained in theseancient healing arts, he bridges the gap between Eastern and Western philosophical approaches and provides a unique synthesis to health and healing.
